On March 2, 2022, a regular meeting of the Bureau of the Board of the FBA EAC was held.
The participants discussed the issues of preparation for the General Meeting of the Association’s Members, approved the creation of the FBA EAC Precious Metals Committee and the head of the Committee – member of the Board of the FBA EAC, Head of the Association’s Representative Office in Italy A.Boldi. Also, the Vice-President of the FBA EAC was approved by the President of the foundation “International Social and Working Fund of Migrants from Moldova”, R. Taran.

On March 3, 2022, we heldthe Annual General Meeting of the Association’s members. The meeting was held in a combined format. The subject of discussion was the results of the Association’s work in the past year, new areas of activity for 2022, audit, change of legal address and rotation in the governing bodies of the Association.
Среди итогов года отмечено: рост членской базы-14 новых членов в отчетном году (общее количество членов – 74 организации), расширение географии участников – 26 стран мира, увеличение количества представительств-открыты представительства: в ОАЭ, Австралийском союзе, Новой Зеландии, Финляндии и Великобритании (в 50 странах Европы, Азии и Африки находятся Представительства Ассоциации либо ее представители), углубление официальных деловых контактов с представителями более 120 стран мира.
The results of the year noted: the growth of the membership base -14 new members in the reporting year (the total number of members – 74 organizations), the expansion of the geography of participants – 26 countries of the world, an increase in the number of representative offices-representative offices were opened in the UAE, the Australian Union, New Zealand, Finland and the UK (in 50 countries of Europe, Asia and Africa there are Representative offices of the Association or its representatives), deepening official business contacts with representatives of more than 120 countries of the world.
In 2021, the heads and members of the FBA EAC took part in over a hundred international forums, round tables and conferences, a number of which were co-organized by the Association. Over 50 business meetings were held with representatives of various countries of the world. The VIII Moscow International Financial and Economic Forum was successfully held (over one and a half thousand participants from 27 countries of the world), 5 specialized round tables were held with a total number of participants of more than 200 people, organized by the Committees of the FBA EAC. 21 publications were prepared for Russian and international media, 3 issues of the Eurasian Financial and Economic Herald were published, the journal’s website was developed and implemented.
FBA EAC continues close cooperation with the International Banking Council (IBC), with the relevant committees and commissions of the RSPP, with the International Congress of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (ICIE), with the CIS Financial and Banking Council, with the Association of Central and Eastern European Banks (BACEE), and, more recently, with the UNIDO Center for International Industrial Cooperation in the Russian Federation, with which the Association began to build a multifaceted practical work. An electronic communication platform, the FBA EAC Deals Platform, has been developed, implemented and is actively being filled, which helps to promote the goods and services of the Association’s members.
Today, the Association is ready to provide highly professional services in the field of law, personnel audit, financial and banking activities, in the organization of international business communications. The members of the Association are large high-tech companies that are also able to provide a wide range of services, conduct expert examinations of projects, give conclusions on them, and assist in implementation. On March 15, 2022, Acting President A.Kotlyarsky helda meeting of with vice-presidents and committee chairmen in the format of a videoconference. The meeting discussed the work plans of the committees for the 1st half of 2022.
Oleg Berezovoy, General Director of the FBA EAC, reminded the participants of the meeting that the Association’s management, in an effort to improve the efficiency and degree of responsibility of the Chairmen of the Committees, will rely on the developed “system of activity indicators” in assessing their activities.

On March 17, 2022, the 24th meeting of the RSPP Integration Council for Cooperation with the EEC was held. The meeting was held via videoconference.
On the main topic of the meeting, “On joint actions of the business community to ensure sustainable growth and development of the EAEU and the international economy in new conditions”, the Chairman of the Integration Council of the RSPP for Interaction with the EEC, the Vice President of the RSPP A.Murychev.

On March 17, 2022, an expanded meeting of the RSPP Financial Industry Commissions was held on the topic “On measures to ensure domestic demand for securities of Russian issuers”. The meeting was chaired by the Vice–President of the RSPP – Managing Director of the Financial Policy and Financial Markets Department, Chairman of the Board of the FBA EAC A.Murychev. The RSPP sent to the Bank of Russia proposals of a systemic nature on measures in the field of ensuring the fulfillment of obligations on bonds with respect to Russian holders, restoring a fair price for securities, preserving the institution of retail investors and a number of others. Also, for the rapid development and discussion of measures to ensure the availability of financial resources and services, as well as the financial stability of companies, the creation of an appropriate temporary working group was discussed. General Director O. Berezovoy and Chairman of the International Leasing Committee V.Sokolov represented FBA EAC at the event.

On March 14-18, 2022, Expoforum hosted the VI St. Petersburg International Labor Forum. The Forum touched upon a wide range of issues and changes in the labor market, the quality of training, the use of new forms of employment, education, its standards and qualifications. Participants from Russia and CIS countries at a special section discussed the practices of regulating migration processes, outlined approaches to supporting the economy. The format of multilateral partnership for the creation of joint educational and production clusters, basic departments, laboratories, research centers and institutes aimed at qualitative replacement of the market of specialists aroused interest.

On March 23, 2022, an expanded meeting of the International Banking Committee of the FBA EAC, the ARB Committee on International Activities and the Subcommittee on Financial and Banking Activities of the Committee on International Cooperation of the RSPP took place. At the meeting, the current state and prospects for the development of cross-border financial and banking partnership were discussed in detail. Over 60 representatives of the financial and banking community attended the meeting, which was held in a combined format, and the real sector of the economy – heads of industrial enterprises – members of the FBA EAC from near and far abroad. O.Preksin, the Chairman of the Committee on International Activities and Vice-President of the ARB, Deputy Chairman of the Subcommittee on Financial and Banking Activities of the RSPP Committee on International Cooperation, Chairman of the International Banking Committee of the FBA EAC moderated the meeting. On March 23, 2022, a meeting of the Council of the Association of Banks of Russia was held, at which measures to support the banking sector of the Russian Federation were discussed and a number of organizational decisions were made. On March 25, 2022, the 19th meeting of the Presidium of the EAEU Business Council took place, the main topic was joint actions of the business community to ensure sustainable growth and development of the EAEU and the international economy in new conditions. On March 30, 2022, a meeting with the heads of the Representative Offices of the FBA EAC was in the videoconference mode. Chairman of the Management Board A.Murychev led the meeting. The meeting was attended by the Acting President of the FBA EAC A. Kotlyarsky, Vice-President R. Taran, General Director O. Berezovoy and heads of twenty Representative Offices of the Association. At the meeting, the work plans of the Representative Offices for the upcoming half–year were discussed, the presentation of the new member of the FBA EAC – LLC “First Integrated Registration Company” took place, the participants of the meeting were informed about the preparations for the international forum “Golden Bridge”, which will be held in Rome on June 9, 2022. On March 30, 2022, a general meeting of members of the Association of Financial Market Participants “Council for Professional Qualifications of the Financial Market” was held in mixed format. On March 31, 2022, a meeting was held in the format of a videoconference with the President of the Tunisian-African Business Council A.Jaziri, a member of the Board of the FBA EAC, President of WARIG (West African and Russian Industrial Group) A. Sow, head of the representative office of the FBA EAC in West Africa and Mauritania A. Biryukov. The meeting discussed issues of cooperation and promotion of projects on the territory of the Russian Federation and Africa and the conduct of the forum in Tunis on May 25. On March 31, 2022, a dialogue with Moldovan business representatives took place in the format of the videoconference.
Participants of the meeting: General Director of the FBA EAC O.Berezovoy, Vice President R.Taran, CEO of the company WineMD I.Muntian. The issues of joining the FBA EAC and promoting the products of Moldovan winemakers in Russia were discussed at the meeting.

On April 5, 2022, the Online & Offline Retail Forum will take place. An innovative exhibition of products from leading vendors, service providers for business development, marketing, IT operations, logistics, security, self-service, e-commerce and payment solutions will be held within the framework of the PLAS Forum: “Online & Offline Retail”.

On April 19, 2022, a meeting of the Bureau of the Board of the FBA EAC will take place. Among the issues on the agenda: the creation of the precious metals Committee, the convening of the organizing committee of the Moscow International Financial and Economic Forum, preparations for the forum in Rome and others. On April 21, 2022, the XXIII All-Russian Banking Conference will be held in a combined format. The organizer is the Association of Banks of Russia. The heads of the Bank of Russia, the Ministry of Finance, other federal ministries and departments, the State Duma, the Federation Council, representatives of credit institutions and well-known experts, traditionally attend the conference.
On April 22, 2022 the National Industrial Forum will take place. The event was organized with the support of the RSPP (RSPP Committee on Investment Policy, Development Institutions and Export Support).
In 2022, the Forum will be devoted to issues of state support for industrial companies’ projects in the face of new economic challenges.
On April 26, 2022, it is planned to hold a Round table organized by the Committee on Best Available Technologies (BAT) and Investment Projects. More detailed information will be provided later.
At the end of April 2022, a meeting of the Acting President of the FBA EAC with vice-presidents and heads of committees will be held. The agenda includes the activation of the work of the committees to provide project, expert, advisory assistance to the members of the Association. More detailed information will be provided later.
In April 2022, it is planned to sign a Memorandum of Cooperation with the Tunisian-African Business Council.

In 2022, meetings in the B2B format will continue in the videoconference mode for members of the Association interested in establishing international business contacts. We are waiting for suggestions on the topics of the Round Tables.
In 2022, the work of the FBA EAC Deals Platform will continue. Thanks to technical modifications, the registration process on the Platform has been simplified, training materials have been updated and updated, administration and monitoring tools have been improved. In June 2022, the forum “Golden Bridge” is planned to be held in Rome (Italy). The following issues will be discussed at the forum: gold and financial instruments, the use of precious metals, the production and sale of jewelry, the possibility of development and cooperation in the Eurasian market for operators and financing structures, new technologies for working with precious metals, a gold bank.
